Previns spice kits provide generations of family flavours originating from Kenya and Rajkot, India.

Simply follow our recipe card adding your own fresh ingredients with meat, seafood or vegetables with our spice packs as instructed.

  • “A classic vegetarian dish made to perfection”

    A personal favourite created by sautéing cauliflower & potato’s in oil with garlic, ginger, chilli, salt and Previns spices then adding tomatoes and water to form a light curry sauce.

    Suitable for vegetarians. Add a festive twist to this traditional dish by using brussels sprouts instead of cauliflower.

    Delicious with rice and Previns naan bread & papadums.

  • “A Previns vegetarian original, don’t knock it until you have tried it.”

    Created by sautéing onions in oil with garlic, ginger, chilli, salt and Previns spices then adding tomatoes and water to form thick curry sauce. Finally add baked beans and a shot of ketchup and cook to perfection.

    Suitable for vegetarians. Baked bean can be substituted for saag spinach, mixed bean or kidney bean curry with this kit.

    Delicious with rice and Previns naan bread & papadums or just serve on toast or jacket potato.

    A curry house favourite created by sautéing potato’s in oil with chilli, salt and Previns spices then adding tomatoes and water to form a light curry sauce.

    Suitable for vegetarians. Why not make a delicious potato, pees and aubergine curry with this kit.

    A well known dish created by sautéing onion with tinned chickpeas in oil with garlic, ginger, chilli, salt and Previns spices then adding tomatoes and water o form a light, tasty curry sauce.

    Suitable for vegetarians. Why not make a delicious sweet corn curry with this kit.

  • “My fathers original curry recipe mix.”

    A base sauce created with well browned onions that lays the foundation for the rich curry flavour. Delicious with chicken or prawns. Cook on a medium heat throughout with the lid in place (crucial to retain moisture) the delicious aromas generated from the spices.

    Suitable for vegetarians if chicken is substituted with corn on cob, tofu, soya chunks, quorn, mixed vegetables, potatoes or Indian Paneer cheese.

  • “Not your average  Korma, this is a special Previns home recipe with all the flavour but made without the added sugar or creamed coconut.”

    Marinate chicken or vegetables in plain yogurt with garlic, ginger and chilli. A traditional chicken curry sauce is then cooked adding fine ground almonds to give a naturally sweet taste. Adding the marinade fuses with the curry spices to create a deliciously smooth but flavoursome korma. Cream or crème fraiche can be added (optional) to create a creamy thick sauce. A great introduction to curry or for those that just love great flavour.

  • “An easy to make marinade mix, great for bar-b q’s, starters and main courses.”

    Create a marinade mix with Previns tikka kit adding plain yogurt, garlic, ginger, chilli and tomato puree and chicken or vegetables.

    Suitable for vegetarians if chicken is substituted with quorn, soya chunks, peppers, mixed vegetables, potatoes or Indian Paneer cheese instead.

    Delicious with rice and Previns naan bread & papadums.

  • “An easy to make marinade mix, great for bar-b q’s, starters and main courses.”

    Add chopped onion, garlic, ginger & chillies. with minced lamb, chicken or soya into a bowl.  Add Previns spice kit with salt and mix well. Leave to marinate in the fridge for a minimum 1 hour (marinate overnight for best results)

    Suitable for vegetarians if lamb is substituted with soya or quorn mince.

    Served great on Previns naan bread with side salad and fresh lemon. Don’t forget to make Previns side sauce dips using the recipes which comes in the kit.

  • “A rich masala sauce made with a strong blend of spices.”

    Use mince lamb for keema or diced lamb for a delicious lamb curry. Created by sautéing onion and lamb in oil with garlic, ginger, chilli, salt and Previns spices then adding tomatoes and water to form a rich masala sauce.

    Suitable for vegetarian if lamb is substituted with soya mince.

    Delicious with rice and Previns naan bread & papadums.

  • “An easy to make marinade mix, great for bar-b q’s, starters and main courses.”

    Add oil, salt, garlic, chillies, lemon juice with Previns spice sachet and mix well to form a thick smooth paste. Rub paste over fish fillets or prawns and  marinate for a minimum 1 hour.

    Suitable for vegetarians if fish is substituted  with quorn, soya chunks, potato’s, Indian Paneer cheese, aubergine, cassava or boiled eggs.

    Served great on Previns naan bread with side salad and fresh lemon. Don’t forget to make Previns side sauce dips using the recipes which comes in the kit.
